ESCOP, European Scientific Cooperative on Phytomedicine is an umbrella organisation representing national phytotherapy associations across Europe, especially in their discussions with European medicine regulators. Since 1996 it has been a company limited by guarantee in the United Kingdom. ESCOP aims to advance the scientific status of phytomedicines and to assist with the harmonisation of their regulatory status at the European level.
