Each issue of the Journal of Vascular Surgery has 4 articles designated for potential CME credit. Exam questions are created by the author and his/her editors from the content of each article.
Claiming Exam Credit
After successfully completing an exam, you will be instructed to print a Certificate of Credit for your earned credit hours:
Each exam is worth 2 credit hours.
An annual total of 24 credit hours may be earned.
All questions must be answered correctly to obtain credit.
Each exam may be retaken an unlimited number of times until successfully completed.
Journal Subscribers
The CME Program is free for journal subscribers who have activated their online subscription.
Non-Subscribers
Non-subscribers still have full access to the CME Program, however if you are not a Journal subscriber, upon successful completion of an exam you will be required to purchase your Certificate of Credit.
Activating Your Subscription
If you are a journal subscriber but have not activated your online subscription, you will be required to activate it upon successful completion of an exam in order to receive your Certificate of Credit.

At the next screen, if you have an account with access to the journal content on this site, LOGIN to that account with your existing Username and Password and skip to Step 4. If you do not, please REGISTER.
Click CONTINUE on the registration confirmation page to pass through to the new CME site.
Click CONTINUE to complete the one-time CME profile and then SAVE.
On the next screen, when prompted to import your CME history from our old system. Click YES and provide your username and password from our old system. NOTE: You must import to retain access to your subscriptions and exam history. You will not be asked again.
Click CONTINUE to take the exam.
If you are a new user and have not completed online CME activities with us before:
CLICK on an exam title of interest from the list below.
At the next screen, please REGISTER.
At the registration confirmation page, click CONTINUE to pass through to the new CME site.
Click CONTINUE again to complete the one-time CME profile and then SAVE.
Click CONTINUE to take the exam.
If you get a blank screen when clicking on an exam, you need to enable pop-ups in your browser:
Scroll to the top and click on the message regarding "pop-ups."
Agree to allow pop-ups (for this program only) and follow the additional prompts.
The exam will then appear. NOTE: Enabling pop-ups for this CME activity will not enable pop-ups for any other applications.
